Orangewood Surgical Center is looking for an OR Nurse ready to take their nursing career to new heights! We're searching for a passionate and energetic OR Circulating Nurse to join our dynamic team at our cutting-edge, Multi-Specialty Surgical Center. Here, we push the boundaries of what's possible in Orthopedics, Spine surgery, ENT, Podiatry, Pain Management, and General surgery. We're a stone's throw away from Angel's Stadium, just off the 57 freeway.

  • The position is paid hourly with some expected over time. Hourly rate starts between $45 -$55 per hour. Total expected earnings for our Nurse professionals are between $96,000 and $125,000 annually
  • Annual Bonuses based on performance.

OR Nurses day-to-day tasks:

  • Managing time, equipment, supplies, and personnel efficiently
  • Providing patient-centered care using provided equipment effectively
  • Upholding high standards of practice, organizational policies, and procedures
  • Overseeing supply ordering, receipt, and storage
  • Ensuring the pre-operative area is clean and well-organized

You'll also have a hand in the following:

  • Upholding surgical services per written policies and compliance guidelines, ensuring quality patient care
  • Developing and monitoring standards for the operating room, sterilization, and ancillary areas
  • Maintaining inventory, staffing, and daily operations
  • Participating in Quality and Medical Leadership Committees as needed

OR Nurses need to bring:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Hospital Operating Room
  • ASN or BSN degree/certification.
  • Current licensure in the State of CA as a Registered Nurse
  • Up-to-date BLS and ACLS certifications
